Ride Health is designed for simplicity and convenience. It blends into the workflows of social workers, care coordinators and patient navigators.
Advance Ride Scheduling
Scheduling a ride, or calling an instant ride, takes just seconds. Coordinators can type to search for a patient and their information will auto-populate; specify the date, time and location of the appointment; and specify whether the ride is to a facility or a discharge home. After a ride has been scheduled, coordinators can edit any details with the click of a button.
Ride Health works with both on-demand transportation providers and traditional non-emergency medical transportation providers. In the near future, Ride Health will include integrations with public transportation agencies, urban micro-transit services and non-emergency air medical transportation.
Automated Patient Messaging
24 hours before an appointment, patients receive a confirmation message to ensure that they still need a ride and that they will be in the correct location. On the day of the appointment, patients will receive information about the exact pick-up time and driver/vehicle information. Ride Health can send alerts to coordinators, both in the platform and through email/text notification, letting them know when a patient has not responded to confirmation messages.
All of these automated processes are built to ensure that each ride is a seamless experience for patients and coordinators. Coordinators can also send custom messages to patients as needed. All messages are sent via SMS (text messaging), so the patient does not need a smartphone or an app. Say goodbye to phone-tag.
Analytics and Admin Controls
Practice and hospital administrators need to manage budgets carefully and allocate spend where it will have the highest impact on patient access, patient satisfaction, quality and the cost of care. That's why Ride Health includes real-time analytics that show both summary reports and ride-level data on cost, on-time performance and patient satisfaction.
Administrators can create individual coordinator accounts, with separate log-ins, and control what these coordinators see. Coordinators can be associated with one or more departments or locations in the same organization account. In addition, coordinators from one organization can share patient or ride information with coordinate from another organization to facilitate transitions of care.
